WebTitan has been awarded the much coveted 5 star award by SC Magazine in the recent anti-malware gateway product test
The SC Magazine Awards program recognizes companies and products for outstanding achievement in information technology (IT) security. Following the test Peter Stephenson advised readers he found ‘configuring the product overall to be simple and straightforward. All administration is done via an intuitive and easy-to-use web GUI, and we found it was easy administering the appliance’. Mr Stephenson found that WebTitan had a ‘ nice feature set and rate it as a good value for the money’.
Of particular note was the flexibility of WebTitan ‘ as users and groups can be imported directly from Active Directory or LDAP for easy policy assignment. This policy control combined with solid malware protection, web filtering and application control, make this product a solid performer’. Also singled out for praise was the accompanying SpamTitan documentation and product support both scoring the highest possible star ratings.
