WebTitan - web filtering appliance

Boston, MA and Galway, 22 December 2009. SpamTitan technologies today unveiled the latest version of its widely acclaimed web filtering solution WebTitan 3.03. The new features and enhancements provide users with greater management capabilities allowing organisations to  improve productivity while proactively protecting the organisations from today’s Web 2.0 threats, all at an affordable price.

 
Many of the new features contained in  WebTitan 3.03 have resulted from feedback and suggestions from users.  One new policy feature whereby existing policies can be used as a template for subsequent policies will greatly improve ease of use and save the IT administrator time and effore otherwise used in the creation of a new policy from scratch.  An important element of WebTitan has always been its automated management, in version 3.03 a product update pop up dialog box has been included, this notifies users that a new product update is available.

New features in the area of content filtering were also announced today, allowing user to import content filtering key words and a new search option for content filtering keywords.  In addition, WebTitan 3.03 includes new category editing and notification features.  These features allow for speedier category updating including increased flexibility in the area of administrator and user notifications. With these new features WebTitan can better deliver the benefits of a  flexible, integrated web filtering solution on the network, at the desktop, and for the remote web-enabled employee.

WebTitan also recently announced that the Japanese version of WebTitan is now available. As well as the English language version WebTitan is now also available in Italian and Japanese, it is planned to launch severals other language versions of  WebTitan in 2010, covering more than 100 countries and reaching over one billion potential users.
